Our client, a strategy consulting firm, was working on a project for an Indian Oil & Gas corporation, focusing on a high-capital expenditure, offshore deep-water project.

This project had relied on a project leader from Europe who had overseen operations for the past four years. Due to personal circumstances, this person had opted to depart from the project and return to the home location.

In order to swiftly fill this critical position and ensure minimal disruption to the project’s trajectory, the consulting firm sought our assistance in matching them to a seasoned Oil & Gas leader with extensive global project management experience in upstream Oil & Gas/EPC service companies. The chosen candidate would be leading the case team and directly collaborate with the end client CEO.

What we did

Outsized collaborated closely with stakeholders from the consulting firm to capture the key aspects of the requirement. Together, we streamlined the vetting process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Our approach for this requirement was a mix of on-platform matching, as well as off-platform options. Thanks to many previous projects in this vertical we had good options available, and could leverage our network for referrals and warm introductions.
