In the rapidly evolving banking landscape, the Retail Client Experience Delivery division of one of the largest retail banks in South Africa faced an urgent need. They required a number specialists to join their Data and Analytics team, aiming to leverage this talent to drive client value across several projects.

Outsized was asked was to quickly help the client scale up with the help of skilled independent professionals that could hit the ground running and ensure the timely delivery of the various projects.

The specialists required were Data Analysts; Business Intelligence Analysts; Data Scientists; Delivery Leads, and Data Support Analysts.

What we did

Our initial task involved matching potential candidates from our platform of skilled independent professionals with limited information, as the various roles were not clearly defined given a dynamic and evolving project landscape. Despite this, our Customer Service team excelled in this regard, assembling an initial shortlist.

This approach provided our client with the opportunity to assess the available talent and potential fit early in the process. Despite the extensive interview process on the client side consuming a significant amount of time, it enabled us to gather additional information regarding their requirements, leading to the presentation of another round of candidates.
