Our client, a prominent global consulting firm, is currently engaged in a digital transformation project for a major player in the automotive industry. Within this project, multiple modules are being developed, and for one of these modules, they seek to bring aboard a skilled Data Architect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models to effectively represent various data entities and their relationships within the organization
• Developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives
• Overseeing the integration of data from diverse sources, both internal and external, to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of data systems, including database queries, data processing pipelines, and storage solutions
• Keeping abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in data management and analytics through continuous learning and professional development activities

Background:

• Ideal candidates will possess over 10 years of experience in cloud technology, with hands-on implementation experience in setting up data platforms using GCP services
• Demonstrable expertise as a data architect, particularly with GCP and experience with data mesh concepts
• Prior experience in consulting is preferred, along with an MBA background

This opportunity will be on an initial 12-month contract. The consultants are expected to be based in Mumbai and work five days a week (Monday to Friday) with the option to fly back to their base location over the weekend.
